Current Location :FAQ>high power LED technology overview
What is High Power LED exactly for ?
High power LEDs(hpled) can work at hunders of mA, and some of them can be driven at more than one ampere current and produce large light (this is much more than other LEDs which can only be driven at tens of mA). All the time the lighting products are obessed by overheating .Large light equals to large heat .HPLEDs fixed the excess heating successfully.High power LEDs are offten mounted on a heat sink made of Aluminimum which helps heat dissipation crucially. If Hight power Leds can not be free from light heat, the device will be burned out within seconds.
Today's HPLED has many appying our our life and industrustrial areas. HPLEDs can replace the incandescent bulbs in the flashlight , or be set in an array to form a supbright LED light lamp . or be used in the car light or LED light street...etc. The biggest diference between HPLEDs and tradtional incandescent or fluroscent light is : HPLEDs produce more light , but consume less energy and reduce less heat .it is more safer ,it is more greener , it is more cheaper.

LED is the acronym of Light-emitting Diodes (LEDs) .Led light bulbs or led light lamp is a solid state lamp that uses LEDs(light-emitting diodes) as the light source. The individual light-emitting diodes is comparatively smaller than traditional incandescent and fluroscent lamps, usually multiple diodes are used together...more
